CPIM MP gheraod: CM intervened: BJP claimed it a move against no action against party office

Ambassa (Tripura), Nov 04 (UNI) CPIM Member of Parliament (MP) Jiten Choudhury and other leaders have been gheraod by BJP activists protesting no action of administration against illegal declared party office during a party meeting in the subdivision of Ambassa in the northern Tripura district of Dhalai here today.
According to the allegation of MP Jiten Choudhury, when he and other leaders from the district has gathered in the office for a pre-schedule organizational meeting then some hundreds of BJP activists have gheraod the office, entered into and threatened them to leave the office at that moment using slang languages. Though police bad administration have reached the spot they have failed to do anything. Then the MP has contacted with the Chief Minister and after his intervention the situation has subsided. MP Jiten Choudhury has alleged, "The democratic situation in the state is at stake. We just can't think of such atrocities on an opposition in the state earlier".
On the contrary, BJP leadership Gopal Sutradhar and Mridul Datta have asserted in a press conference that, the MP has fabricated the entire issue. No violence has been stirred. BJP's protest has remained against the administration which has failed to ransack the CPIM party office even after knowing it established on government land. "Our party office has been removed at the earliest. But why there one in the same condition should stand right now?"
