CPI (ML) shot dead in Bihar

Bhagalpur, Feb 23 (UNI) Unidentified criminals shot dead block secretary of Communist Party of India (Marxist Leninist) at Bagari village under Khareek police station area in the district late last night.
Police said here today outlaws attacked the house of CPI (ML) block secretary Jawahar Yadav and shot at him leaving him seriously injured. Sources said the CPI (ML) leader was admitted to Bhagalpur Medical College and Hospital where he died during treatment.
Police said the motive behind murder was land dispute. A named FIR had been registered against six people on the statement of deceased`s uncle. The body had been sent for autopsy.
