CPI(M) urges J&K Guv to regularise eligible workers

Jammu, Feb 10 (UNI) Welcoming the empowered committee decision of regularising over 330 daily wage workers, CPI (M) senior leader and MLA Kulgam, Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami today demanded that the similar pending cases of various departments be taken up on the same analogy.
"Families of hundreds of eligible daily rated workers, need-based workers and casual labourers are passing through tough times and Governor NN Vohra must personally intervene and accord a favorable consideration to their long pending demand of regularization,’’ Mr Tarigami in a statement issued here said.
The CPI (M) leader said that the daily rated workers, causal labourers and need-based workers have been turned into a hapless lot, who are always put to tremendous hardships, despite toiling hard in pressing circumstances.
