CPI demands official Telangana Merger Day celebration, criticizes BJP for distorting history

Warangal, Sep 15 (UNI) CPI State Assistant Secretary Takkalpalli Srinivasa Rao today said that the BJP has no moral right to speak on Telangana Merger Day.
He was addressing a meeting at Abnus Function Hall in Warangal as part of Telangana Armed Struggle Week, organized by the CPI District Committee.
Earlier, tributes were paid to the statues of Chennaboya Kamalamma and Appanna at Pochamma Maidan, followed by a rally to the meeting venue. The program was chaired by CPI District Secretary Sheikh Bashmia.
