Islamabad, July 21 (UNI) China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) has added a practical dimension to the strategic partnership between China and Pakistan through its energy and infrastructure projects, Pakistan caretaker Foreign Minister Abdullah Hussain Haroon said.
Mr Haroon said Pakistan-China relations are a shining example of win-win cooperation and commended Chinese President Xi Jinping's visionary Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).
The minister was speaking at a function about Belt and Road Initiative and CPEC at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Friday, a report in Radio Pakistan said.
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Grisons Peak Investment Bank, UK Henry Tillman highlighted the successes of BRI and CPEC projects and their economic impact.
Mr Tillman also spoke about expected positive spillover impact of BRI and CPEC on FDI from other countries, as well as development of Pakistan’s construction, manufacturing, tourism and e-commerce sectors.
