Gangtok, Oct 21 (UNI) Sikkim recorded 59 fresh COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, while a patient with co-morbidity has died taking the toll to 63.
So far confirmed cases figure at 2391, while 1890 have been cured and discharged.
A total of 469 people are active and under treatment.
"A total of six positive cases have been reported from Jorethang Community Health Centre and a Police employee from Melli South Sikkim has tested positive for Covid-19, while a two-day-old baby has recovered from COVID-19 and has been discharged," said Sonam Bhutia, Information, Education & Communication officer of Sikkim Health Department.
