COVID19: J&K Prisons Department begin video conference facility to interact with inmates, families

Jammu, July 2 (UNI) In view of the prevailing situation of COVID 19, Jammu and Kashmir Prisons Department has introduced video conference service to hold interaction of inmates with their family members and prevent the spread of the pandemic.
The exercise, however, is bearing fruits as inmates are now easily interacting their family members online without any hiccups.
Superintendent District Jail Jammu Mirza Saleem Beig here said that keeping in view the Corona Virus issue, video conferencing process was set into motion so that both inmates and the families interact to each other time to time.

UP: Six get lifer for murder of BSP MLA Raju Pal in 2005
