Mumbai, Apr 8 (UNI) NCP chief Sharad Pawar on Thursday said that the COVID situation in Maharashtra is serious and the citizens should stand abide by the decisions taken by the government.
Streaming live on Facebook, Mr Pawar said, “Cooperation of all is important for the survival and security of the people. The present COVID situation is dire in the state, we must face this with courage and have no other choice.”
He also presented the pandemic-related statistics from last year till the present; last September, there were 34,259 active cases in Mumbai, while in April this year, there are 79,268 of them.
