Covid: Maha logs 1,847 new cases, 7 deaths

Mumbai, Aug 11 (UNI) Maharashtra reported 1,847 fresh Covid-19 cases and seven virus-related deaths in the past 24 hours, according to health bulletin issued on Thursday.


With the addition of these new cases, the state’s cumulative case tally has surged to 80,64,366 and the death toll goes up to 1,48,157.
Meanwhile, 1,840 cured patients were discharged during the day across the state, taking overall count of recoveries to 79,04,320.
The state's recovery rate significantly stand to 98.01 per cent and fatality rate 1.83 per cent .
Presently, 11,889 patients were undergoing treatment in different hospitals, the bulletin added.
