COVID: Karnataka reports 1785 fresh cases, 25 deaths

Bengaluru, Aug 5 (UNI) Karnataka on Thursday reported 1,785 fresh cases of the COVID-19 in the last 24-hours, taking the total number of persons infected from the pandemic to 29,13,512.
According to official sources, 25 people succumbed to the virus in the same period taking the total number of fatalities due to the pandemic so far in the state to 36,705.
As many as 1651 patients were discharged from various hospitals in the past one day, however, there are still 24,414 active cases across the state.
