COVID cases surge to 211108, death toll reaches 3717 in K'taka

Bengaluru, Aug 14 (UNI) The number of COVID-19 cases in Karnataka surged to 211108, following reporting of highest number of 7908 fresh cases on Friday.
The number of deaths due to the COVID-19 also surged to 3717, with 104 patients succumbing to the disease in the past 24 hours in the state.
According to official sources, the number of COVID-19 patients, cured and discharged from various hospitals on Friday, also accounted to 6940, taking the total number of cured to 128182 in the state.
