Covid cases reach 78 in Manipur

Imphal, Jun 1 (UNI) : The total numbers of Corona positive and active cases have increased to 78 and 67 respectively in Manipur.
Dr. Khoirom Sasheekumar Mangang, Additional Director & Spokesperson Health Department today said last night four persons were confirmed as COVID 19 positive cases at the VRDL, JNIMS. Two of them (aged 17 and 26 yr) were from Senapati District and were returnees from Chennai while the remaining two (both aged l8 yr) were from Bishnupur District and were returnees from Uttar Pradesh.
Three more persons were confirmed last night as new COVID 19 positive cases at the VRDL, RIMS. The two males (23 and 22 yr) and the lone female (22yr) are from Thoubal district. They are returnees from Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Hyderabad respectively.
