COVID cases over 2 lakh, death toll surges to 3613 in K'taka

Bengaluru, Aug 13 (UNI) The number of COVID-19 cases in Karnataka surged to 203200, following reporting of 6706 fresh cases on Thursday.
The number of deaths due to the pandemic also surged to 3613, with 103 infested persons succumbing to the disease in the past 24 hours in the state.
According to official sources, the number of COVID-19 patients, cured and discharged from various hospitals on Thursday, also accounted to 8609, taking the total number of cured to 121242 in the state.
