COVID: Aurangabad reports 2 deaths, 16 positive cases

Aurangabad (Maharashtra), Aug 5 (UNI) Aurangabad on Thursday reported 16 new COVID cases while one patient died of the virus, the authorities informed.
Out of 16 positive cases including 6 from city limit and rest of 10 from rural areas in the district .
With the new additions, the district’s caseload surged to 1,47,551 while the death toll increased to 3,509.

Maha minister files defamation suit against BJP leader

Mumbai, Sep 21 (UNI) Maharashtra minister and Shiv Sena leader Anil Parab has filed a defamation suit in the Bombay high court against BJP leader Kirit Somaiya alleging that the latter made “malicious, malafide and defamatory” statements and claimed damages to the tune of Rs 100 crore
Mr Parab also sought an unconditional apology from Mr Somaiya stating that his reputation has been damaged and that former BJP MP is only seeking “cheap publicity”.
