Srinagar, Aug 8 (UNI) With the death of five more people ,including two women, the death toll due to COVID-19 has risen to 455 in Jammu and Kashmir, where over 24000 people were infected despite strict lockdown imposed by the authorities.
Official sources said five people -- including a woman from Natipora Srinagar, a woman from Malpora Pulwama, 60-year-old man from Panzgam, Kupwara, 50-year-old from Zaloora Sopore and another man from Handwara -- died due to COVID-19 during the last 24 hours, taking the death toll due to the infection in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir to 455.
