COVID-19: With seven new positive cases, HP count increases to 13

Shimla, Apr 4 (UNI) With detection of seven positive cases in Indra Gandhi Medical College Hospital Shimla, count of COVID-19 increased to 13 in the state on Saturday.
The four people who came in contact with COVID-19 victim at Baddi and three people belonging to Dablighi Jammaat from Nalagarh tested positive for Novel Corona virus today, official sources told UNI.
Additional Chief Secretary Health Mr R D Dhiman said that with seven new positive cases the total number of positive COVID-19 in the state went up to 13 as two people died .
He said that 381 samples has been tested in the state of Himachal Pradesh as 335 has tested negative and 13 positive.
As many as 4286 people with travel history to affected regions of COVID-19 has been identified till date out of this 2159 are in home quarantine.
About 1754 people have completed 28 days of quarantine period.
Today 87 samples were taken out of this 54 samples were sent to IGMC where seven were tested positive which includes four of the close contact of a woman who was testes positive at PGI Chqndigarh and three Tablighi jamaat event of Nalagarh area of Solan district.
Three are being shifted to IGMC Shimla four others were sent to Delhi today before they were tested .
Report of 33 samples were taken to Dr RPMC at Tanda in Kangra district could not be declared on Saturday, owing to technical snag and all samples would be drawn fresh tomorrow would be retested again at Tanda, he added.
Among the 13 People tested positive for Novel Corona virus, three have reported foreign travel history including a Tibetan died at Dharmshala.
A 63 yrs lady who visited Abudhabi and 32 yrs man who visited Singapore detected positive in the state. So far ,one has recovered from the COVID-19 in the state.
Six cases (including three of today) of COVID-19 attributed to Tablighi jamaat event while four were contracted by the virus after coming in contact with a factory owners in the state having no travel history abroad.
