COVID-19: TMC forms teams of auditors to check on overcharging by pvt hospitals

Thane, Jul 5 (UNI) In a bid to rein in private hospitals from apparently overcharging the COVID-19 patients, Thane Municipal Corporation(TMC) formed teams of auditors, which would inspect the bills levied by the hospitals, TMC Dy Commissioner Vishwanath Kelkar said on Sunday.
He told, "Four teams, comprising two auditors each, have been formed. They will audit a total of 15 Corona hospitals in the city."
"Recently, an order to this effect was issued by the civic chief Vipin Sharma," he added.

Pune, Apr 23 (UNI) Day temperatures were markedly above normal (5.1°C or more) at isolated places over Gangetic West Bengal and Odisha; appreciably above normal (3.1°C to 5.0°C) at isolated places over Bihar, Telangana, Kerala and Mahe and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura; above normal (1.6°C to 3.0°C) at most places over Assam and Meghalaya; at many places over Arunachal Pradesh; at a few places over Jharkhand, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal and coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam; at isolated places over Andaman and Nicobar Islands, east Uttar Pradesh and coastal Karnataka. These were appreciably below normal (-3.1°C to -5.0°C) at isolated places over Himachal Pradesh; below normal (-1.6°C to -3.0°C) at isolated places over Uttarakhand, west Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat state and near normal over rest parts of the country. Yesterday, the highest maximum temperature of 43.8°C was reported at Cuddapah (Rayalaseema) and Bhubaneshwar (Odisha) over the country.
