Bhopal, Sep 25 (UNI) Acknowledging the fact that Madhya Pradesh is grappling with a resource crunch spawned by the ‘millennium scourge’, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Friday assured in the same breath that public welfare and development projects will not halt.
“Within a period not exceeding three years, pure potable tap-water shall be supplied to every dwelling and each indigent individual will reside in a pucca abode,” the senior politician was officially quoted as saying while addressing a Vikas Parv-cum-Antyodaya Mela in Guna District’s Bamori after performing bhoomi pujan for ventures worth approximately Rs 640 crore.
