COVID-19: Russia's tally nears 6,00,000

Moscow, June 23 (UNI) Russia registered 7,425 more COVID-19 cases during the past 24 hours taking the tally to 599,705, announced the country's coronavirus response center on Tuesday.
Sputnik quoted the response center as saying that of the new cases 1,081 have been registered in Moscow city, 504 in the Moscow region and 319 in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area.
The center added that during the past 24 hours 153 patients succumbed to the ailment taking the overall death toll to 8,359.
