Moscow, May 31 (UNI) Russia's COVID-19 count has reached 405,843 as 9,268 more cases were recorded during the past 24 hours, declared the national Corona virus response center on Sunday.
Sputnik quoted the response center saying that out of the new cases, 2,595 were registered in the capital city of Moscow, 757 in the Moscow region while 369 in St Petersburg.
The response center also confirmed that the country's COVID-19 death toll rose by 138 to reach 4,693.
As many as 4,414 patients recovered in the country during the past 24 hours, taking the overall number of those cured to 171,883.
