New Delhi, Apr 9 (UNI) The Indian Railways has produced 582,317 reusable face masks and 41,882 litres hand sanitiser in-house in its Zonal Railways, Production Units and PSUs till April 7.
The Western Railway (WR) with 81,008 reusable face covers and 2,569 litres of hand sanitiser has taken the lead in this regard followed by North Central Railway (NCR) with 77,995 reusable face covers and 3,622 litres hand sanitiser, and North Western Railway (NWR) with 5,1961 reusable face covers and 3,027 litres hand sanitiser, an official statement here said.
The Central Railway (CR) has produced 38,904 reusable face covers and 3,015 litres hand sanitiser, East Central Railway (ECR) 33,473 reusable face covers and 4,100 litres hand sanitiser and West Central Railway (WCR) 36,342 reusable face covers and 3,756 litres hand sanitiser.
