COVID-19: Positive cases cross 6 lakh mark in AP

Vijayawada, Spt 17 (UNI) The massive spike of Coronavirus positive cases continued in Andhra Pradesh as the total number of cases have crossed the six lakh mark while 72 more patients died taking the death toll to 5,177.
A health bulletin here on Thursday said that 77,492 swab samples were tested in a period of 24 hours of which 8,702 were tested positive for Coronavirus taking the total number of cases to 6,01,462.
Large number of deaths took place in Chittoor district (564), East Godavari district (472), Guntur district (481), Kurnool district (435), Nellore district (411), Prakasham district (405), Anantapur district (429) and West Godavari district (405).
