COVID-19: Positive cases 251 in Kerala, 1,69,997 under surveillance, says CM

Thiruvananthapuram, Apr 3 (UNI) Kerala reported 9 more COVID-19 positive cases on Friday taking the total cases under treatment to 251, while people under quarantine rose to 1,69,997, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijan said.
Addressing a press conference at the Government Secretariat, the Chief Minister said "out of 9 new cases, 7 were from Kasaragod, 1 each from Thrissur and Kannur. 14 affected people have been cured and discharged today bringing down the positive cases."
"Currently 1,69,997 people are under surveillance, out of which 1,69,291 under isolation in homes and 706 in hospitals. Today alone 184 people were newly admitted to various hospitals in the State," he clarified.
