COVID-19 : Migrant workers stage protest in Kerala

Kochi, Mar 30 (UNI) A day after the protest staged by migrant workers in Payippad, a similar incident took place at the Bengal colony in Perumbavoor where over 3000 labourers, the largest in Kerala, staged a protest on Monday.
The protest was staged at the public road alleging the food distributed through the community kitchen was not enough. The food was not according to their standards and the quality was poor.
The authorities had served them rice and dal, but the workers complained that they wanted chapati and the dal was not good.
