Covid-19: M'rashtra reports 1,418 new cases, 36 deaths

Aurangabad / Mumbai, Oct 28 (UNI) Maharashtra on Thursday reported 1,418 fresh Covid-19 patients and 36 fatalities in a single day, taking the state's cumulative case tally to 66,07,954 and the toll to 1,40,134, respectively, a health bulletin of the state government said.
On the other hand, 2,112 patients were discharged during the day across the state, taking overall count of recoveries to 64,45,454.
The state's recovery rate further improved to 97.54 per cent, while the fatality rate was steady at 2.12 per cent.
