Bengalluru, Apr 3 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa on Friday appealed to the Minority leaders and Legislators to cooperate with the State government in fighting against the dreaded disease Corona virus (Covid-19).
Addressing the leaders at a meeting convened by him in the Vidhana Soudha, the State Secretariat on Friday, he said that those who attended the Congregation at Nizamudin, New Delhi last month should voluntarily get medical test done for Coronavirus and to prevent the killer disease from spreading to the family members and other public.
Mr Yediyurappa appealed to the Muslim leaders not to get carried away with rumours but to join hands with the Government to fight against the present threat faced.
The Minority leaders, who were part of the meeting, have assured the Chief Minister of following the guidelines of quarantine and extend full cooperation with the government agencies including Health department officials and volunteers.
Former Union Minister C M Ibrfahim, N A Haris, Zamir Ahamed, Nasir Ahamed, Rizwan Arshad, Alur Srinivasmurthy, Salim Ahmed, among others participated in the meeting.
