COVID-19 inoculation record in MP

Bhopal, Aug 25 (UNI) In excess of 22 lakh citizens were benefitted by vaccination against the novel coronavirus on Wednesday alone in Madhya Pradesh, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said.
“This immunisation was achieved by 2000 hrs under the Vaccination Maha-Abhiyan 2. Thank you, Madhya Pradesh! I bow to your spirit and firm willpower. We shall continue to script records in this manner,” Mr Chouhan conveyed via social media.

Pathalgaon, Chhattisgarh, Sep 17 (UNI) A peasant has been trampled to death by a herd of elephants while he was returning from a farm in Farsabahar area.
“A sum of Rs 25,000 was provided as immediate assistance to the affected family. Thirty-six tuskers – comprising a couple of herds from Odisha – are present for a fortnight now in two-dozen villages of Tapkara Range. Hundreds of cultivators complained of crop damage,” Jashpur’s Divisional Forest Officer Jadhav Shrikrishna said on Friday.
