Covid-19: Gokula Education Foundation donates Rs 3 Cr to PM CARES & CM's Relief Fund

Bengaluru, Apr 6 (UNI) Gokula Education Foundation (GEF), which runs Ramaiah group of institutions and Hospitals, on Monday donated Rs three crore to Prime Minister's Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situation Fund (PM CARES) and to the Karnataka Chief Minister's Relief Fund to fight against the dreaded disease Covid-19.
Foundation Chairman Dr Jayaram and Vice Chairman Seetharam met Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa and handed over a cheque for Rs two crore to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund and another cheque for Rs one crore to the PM CARES, according to a statement issued here on Monday.
Dr Jayaram said. "We have donated Rs three crore to fight against killer virus Corona which is spreading like wildfire in the country. The efforts of the State government in fighting the impending Covid-19 is laudable."
