COVID-19 claims 881 lives in Bihar

Patna, Sep 25 (UNI) With three fresh deaths due to COVID-19, the death toll increased to 881 in Bihar.
According to the health department sources, Patna, Samastipur and Vaishali reported one death each during the past 24 hours.
Of the 881 casualties, Patna reported with 203 fatalities so far followed by Bhagalpur with 58, Gaya 45, Nalanda 39, Munger and Rohtas 36 each, East Champaran 35, Bhojpur and Muzaffarpur 31 each, Vaishali, Samastipur and Saran 30 each, Begusarai 25, Darbhanga 20, Siwan 19, Madhubani 17, West Champaran and Nawada 16 each, Araria 14, Buxar 12, Katihar and Sitamarhi 11 each, Khagaria, Aurangabad and Kishanganj 10 each, Kaimur, Madhepura, Banka, Supaul and Purnea nine each, Jehanabad eight, Arwal, Lakhisarai and Saharsa seven each, Jamui six, Sheikhpura five, Gopalganj two and Sheohar one.

Shillong, Oct 22 (UNI) Meghalaya registered one more COVID-19 related death taking the number fatalities due to the disease to 78 and 99 fresh cases on Thursday, taking active cases to 1,661, while 307 more patients also recovered from the viral infection bringing the number of recovered cases in the State to 6,981.
