COVID-19 claims 859 lives in Bihar

Patna, Sep 18 (UNI) With four fresh death due to coronavirus infection, the COVID 19 pandemic has claimed 859 in Bihar so far.
According to the health department sources, Patna reported three casualties and Madhubani reported one death during the past 24 hours.
Of the 859 casualties, Patna reported with 196 fatalities due to this infection so far followed by Bhagalpur with 56, Gaya 44 , Nalanda 39, Munger and Rohtas 36 each, East Champaran 34, Bhojpur and Muzaffarpur 31 each, Vaishali 28, Saran and Samastipur 27 each, Begusarai 23, Darbhanga 20, Siwan 19, West Champaran, Madhubani 17, Nawada 16 each , Araria 14, Buxar 12, Katihar 11, Sitamarhi, Khagaria, Aurangabad and Kishanganj 10 each, Kaimur, Madhepura, and Purnea 9 each, Jehanabad , Banka, Supaul and 8 each, Arwal, Lakhisarai and Saharsa 7 each, Jamui 6 , Sheikhpura 5 , Gopalganj 2 and Sheohar 1.
