COVID-19: Centre team on two-day visit to Gujarat

Ahmedabad, Jul 16 (UNI) To review and further guide the state government on the management of prevalent COVID-19 situation in Gujarat, a Central Team, consisting of four senior members, arrived this evening here, on a two-day to Ahmedabad and Surat.
Earlier in May this year, another such team led by Dr Randeep Guleria, Director of AIIMS, New Delhi, and Dr Manish Suneja had visited Ahmedabad, following which, Lav Agarwal, Joint Secretary, Union Ministry of Health, had also visited Gujarat.
According to a statement issued by the state government this evening, the four-member Central Team that arrived today, consists of NITI Aayog member Dr Vinod K Paul, ICMR Director Dr Balram Bhargav, Director of AIIMS Dr Randeep Guleria and Bharati Ahuja, Additional Secretary, Union Health Ministry.
