COVID-19 cases rise to 348, death toll goes up to 4 in AP

Vijayawada Apr 8 (UNI) The rise of COVID-19 cases continues in Andhra Pradesh as 348 persons have been tested positive for Coronavirus positive, 4 persons have died of the pandemic so far and 9 persons were recovered and discharged.
A Health Bulletin here on Wednesday said that from Wednesday 9 am 6 pm, 19 persons were tested positive for COVID-19 in the State. Out of the new 19 cases, 8 cases were reported in Guntur district, 7 cases in Anantapur district, 3 cases in Prakasham district and 1 case in WG district.
Out of the total 348 cases, 13 cases were detected in Ananthapur district, 20 cases in Chittor district, 11 cases in East Godavari district, 49 cases in Guntur district, 28 cases in Kadapa district, 35 cases in Krishna district, 75 cases in Kurnool district, 48 in Nellore, 27 in Prakasam, 20 in Visakhapatnam, 22 in WG district.
