Covid-19 cases in Nashik rises to 16K

Nashik, Aug 3 (UNI) With the detection of record 1,018 new corona positive cases here in a single day on Monday, the district's tally shot up to 16,603.
Of 6,724 swab samples examined in last 24 hours, 5,706 were negative while 1,018 tested positive.
Among the fresh cases, 876 were from Nashik city, 120 from Nashik Rural and 22 from Malegaon, a report of the district administration said here.
