COVID-19: Cases in Afghanistan cross 15,000 mark

Kabul, May 31 (UNI) Afghanistan registered 680 new positive cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, taking the total count to 15,205, said the Ministry of Public Health on Sunday.
Tolonews agency quoted the ministry saying that eight people succumbed to the disease and 25 patients recovered during the past 24 hours.
Afghanistan has registered 257 Corona virus related deaths till date while 1,328 patients have recovered till date.
