Mysuru, Jun 5 (UNI) Despite Congress party cooperated with the Karnataka government in fighting the COVID-19, the ruling BJP is not committed to handle the COVID-19 pandemic, former Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah accused both the Centre and State governments.
Speaking to reporters here on Friday, he said that when the first case was reported in Kerala, the State and Centre should have sounded a high alert, but they did not do anything until April and later made us all applaud and bang utensils.
"The lockdown was declared at midnight, people were not given time to be prepared for it. This caused much trouble for the workers and the poor. Is it wrong to ask questions on these issues? We are in the opposition to question this. People and the media will teach them a lesson in the future soon," he said.
