Itanagar, Sep 21 (UNI) After a brief hiatus, Arunachal Pradesh has registered one COVID-19 casualty during the last 24 hours that pushed its death toll to 272, besides reporting 50-plus single-day infections.
The victim, a 101-year-old male from Tirap district, who tested positive for the virus on September 16, had died of COVID-19 related complications. He had no comorbidity and was under home isolation, a senior health department official said on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the state continued to witness more recoveries than the daily infections as it recorded 67 recoveries and 56 new cases during the last 24 hours.
