COVID-19: 5,795 fresh cases diagnosed, 33 patients die in AP

Vijayawada, Oct 6 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh reported 5,795 fresh positive cases of coronavirus, taking the tally to 7,29,307, while 33 more patients died, taking the total number of deaths to 6,052.
A health bulletin here on Tuesday said that 65,889 swab samples were tested in a period of 24 hours, of which 5,795 were tested positive for Coronavirus.
With the deaths of 33 persons, the Pandemic has claimed 6,052 lives so far. Large number of deaths have taken place in Chittoor (683), followed by Anantapur (509), East Godavari district (548), Guntur (548) and Prakasham district (505).
