COVID-19: 4 patients die in AP, death toll rises to 68

Vijayawada, June 3 (UNI) As many as four Coronavirus patients have died in Andhra Pradesh during the last 24 hours taking the death toll to 68 while 79 fresh cases reported.
A health bulletin said here on Wednesday that four Covid-19 patients have died during the last 24 hrs of which two patients in Chittoor district, one patient in Krishna district and another in Kurnool district.
With the four deaths, the death toll of Coronavirus has touched 68. The death of four Coronavirus patients during 24 hrs is the first time in AP.
As many as 8,066 samples were tested from 0900 hrs on Tuesday to 0900 hrs today of which 79 tested positive for Coronavirus taking the tally to 3,279.
So far 2,234 patients have been discharged from various hospitals as they completely cured while 967 are undergoing treatment.
The health bulletin said that the cumulative positive cases from Foreign Returnees are 119 of which active cases are 118. The cumulative positive cases from other States are 573 of which active cases are 362.
