COVID-19: 293 new cases, 4 deaths in K'taka's Belagavi

Belagavi, Aug 5 (UNI) As many as 293 new COVID -19 positive cases were reported on Wednesday taking the number of infected to 4221 in the district while four people including one female died due to COVID-19 surging the death toll to 90 in the district.
According to health bulletin, 52 persons were discharged from the hospital pushing the number of discharged to 1162.
At present, 2969 active cases were being treated and reports of 112 samples results were awaited, the bulletin added.
