COVID-19: 138 new cases, tally surges to 2,775 in UP's Ballia

Ballia, Aug 13 (UNI) With 138 more people testing positive for the novel coronavirus, the total number of cases increased to 2,775 here on Thursday.
District Magistrate Hari Pratap Shahi said that 26 patients have so far succumbed to the contagion in the district while 1,575 have recovered completely.
At present, 1,154 active patients were being treated at the L-1 hospitals in the district, he added.
