Court hands man three-year jail term for molesting minor girl

Nanded, Aug 17 (UNI) The additional session court in Bhokar sentenced a person to a three year imprisonment with slapping a fine of Rs 5000 for molesting a minor girl on Saturday.
The victim girl was learning in a school at Mudkhed and she used to go for a private coaching class frequently. The accused Amol Ashok Kadam, the resident of Bhokar, used to stalk her. On April 17, 2016, the accused spotted the girl on the railway station and insisted on her to go with him on a motorcycle. On refusal, he allegedly snatched a mobile handset from her and molested her.
A complaint was lodged by father of the victim with Bhokar police, accordingly, a case was filed against the accused under section 354 (d) of the Indian Penal Code and section 11 (4) and 12 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012.
