Court awards lifer to convict for murdering a boy after unnatural sex

Patna, Sep 18 (UNI) A local fast track court today awarded lifer to a convict for having unnatural sex with a minor boy and subsequently murdering him.

The judge of fast track court-2 Abdul Salam sentenced the convict Kailash Kumar alias Nepali, a native of Patliputra quarter near Bihar Vidyapeeth under Digha police station area in the state capital for having unnatural sex with the minor and subsequently murdering him.

The court awarded 10 years of rigorous imprisonment for kidnapping the boy, another 10 years of rigorous imprisonment for having unnatural sex with him and lifer for murdering him. All the three sentences will run separately.

Even if the government commutes the life sentence, the convict would have to serve 40 years of jail term.

According to the prosecution, the convict had kidnapped and had unnatural sex with the minor boy before murdering him under Digha police station area on April 11, 2013.
