Coronavirus Outbreak: IIM Kashipur postpones convocation

Haldwani, Mar 13 (UNI) In view of the outbreak of Coronavirus and several advisories that have been issued by Central and State governments as well as from the University Grants Commission to avoid mass gatherings, the Board of Governors of Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kashipur have decided to postpone their convocation function for the time being.
In view of these circumstances and in order to guard the community of students, faculty, and staff and guests from any unwanted risks the Board of Governors of IIM Kashipur have decided to postpone their Convocation ceremony.
The 8th convocation ceremony was scheduled to take place on 21st March 2020. Union Minister of Human Resource Development, Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' was to be the chief guest at the event.
