Hyderabad, Oct 31 (UNI) The Coronavirus infection number continued to rise in Telangana as the state registered 1,445 fresh cases till 2000 hours on Friday taking the total number of confirmed cases so far to 2,38,612.
With six more patients succumbing to the contagious virus in the past 24 hours, the overall COVID-19 deaths in the state have risen to 1,336 constituting a Case Fatality Rate (CFR) of 0.56 as against the countrywide CFR of 1.5 per cent, a state health department bulletin said on Saturday.
As many as 1,486 patients have recovered from coronavirus between Thursday and Friday pushing the aggregate recoveries to 2,18,887 in the state till date translating into a recovery rate of 91.72 per cent while the national recovery rate was 91.3 per cent.
