Coronavirus: India Open to go ahead as per schedule, likely to be held without spectators

New Delhi, Mar 11 (UNI) The India Open Super 500 tournament, a crucial event for the Tokyo Olympic qualification, will be held as per schedule in the national capital, Badminton Association of India (BAI) said on Wednesday.
The tournament will be held in New Delhi from March 24-29 as scheduled, however it is is likely to be staged behind closed doors without spectators due to coronavirus outbreak.
According to BAI, all the relevant health, safety and precautionary measures will be taken for the smooth conduct of the tournament.
