Coronavirus death toll crosses 1,700-mark in Chhattisgarh

Raipur, Oct 23 (UNI) Coronavirus death toll in Chhattisgarh has crossed 1700-mark. As many as 2450 fresh Coronavirus positive patients were found in the state during the last 24 hours, taking the tally to 172580 in the state on Friday. Meanwhile, 283 patients were discharged from hospitals after recovery.
According to information received from health department out of 2450 fresh Coronavirus positive patients maximum 226 belong to Janjgir whereas 197 patients were found in Durg, 120 in Rajnandgaon, 62 in Balod, 42 in Bemetara, 52 in Kabirdham, 202 in Raipur, 69 in Dhamtari, 85 in Baloda-Bazaar, 77 in Mahasamund, 57 in Gariaband, 182 in Raigarh, 225 in Korba, 65 in Mungeli, 5 in Gourela-Pendra-Marwahi, 55 in Sarguja, 58 in Koriya, 60 in Surajpur, 43 in Balrampur, 46 in Jashpur, 93 in Bastar, 69 in Kondagaon, 81 in Dantewada, 35 in Sukma, 75 in Kanker, 7 in Narayanpur and 45 in Bijapur. Three patients have come from other states. Process of their hospitalization is underway.
Meanwhile, 283 patients who were undergoing treatment in various hospitals have recovered
