Coronavirus: Central team to assess Kerala's steps tomorrow

Kochi, Jan 25 (UNI) A central delegation will assess the measures to prevent coronavirus outbreak in Kerala on Sunday.
The delegation, comprising a public health expert, a clinician and a microbiologist will visit the international airport here and nearby hospitals.
In Kerala, seven people, recently returned from China, have been kept under observation at various hospitals. The samples of their blood have been sent to National Institute of Virology laboratory in Pune.
The health department officials said that it is part of precaution and has no situation for anxiety. Precautionary measures have been strengthened. No cases of infection have been reported in the state yet, they said.
Meanwhile, Union Health Ministry has intensified coronavirus checks. It has extended travel advisory to 19 airports; Kochi, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Kolkata, New Delhi, Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Coimbatore, Gaya, Guwahati, Bagdogra, Jaipur, Lucknow, Thriruvananthapuram, Tiruchi,
Varanasi and Visakhapatnam.
Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan has said that 11 persons are under observation; seven in Kerala, two in Mumbai and one each in Bengaluru and Hyderabad in the country.
