CORONA: Schools demanding fees from studenst will loose recognition: Thane Edu Department

Thane, Mar 30 (UNI) The Thane ZP Education department on Monday warned that if any school be it aided or non-,aided asks the students to pay their fees during this period of lockdown, then they will loose their recognition.
In a strongly worded message to the schools the district education officer Sangeeta Bhagwat has said that the office of the education department has received several complaints from the parents that some of the schools in the district were pestering the parents to pay the school fees forthwith.
In the message she has pointed out that consequent upon the pandemic the state has implemented the Epidemic Act 1897 in the entire state in a bid to arrest the spread of the pandemic. The state is also in a lock down stage when several people have not not been able to report for work and this will affect their wages.
