They ple are from Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Kannur . While Police also had rescued five minor girls between the age of 8 to 16, who were employed for domestic help in Pookome-Chockli near Thalasery in the district. According to police, they arrested main child trafficking agent women---Masthani (35),Mumthaz (35) and Rasiya (40) all the three hails from Thiruvallur in Tamilnadu. While, others include Chandpasha (48) and Mujinabi (40) duo of Chittor in Andhra Pradesh. and, K Azeez (40) of Keezhmadam near Chocki was also arrested in this connection. All of them produced before the Thalassery JFCM and sent to judicial custody for 14 days. Masthani, who was nabbed by police with the help of Childline while trying to sale her own daughter for Rs 1,20,000.
