Cops get respite as Tribunal directs govt to accept VRS

Vijayawada, Mar 20 (UNI) The Tribunal on Wednesday provided a respite to Inspector of Police Gorantla Madhav, who is contesting to Lok Sabha from Hindupur constituency, by directing the government of Andhra Pradesh to accept his VRS immediately.
The YSRCP has given ticket to the firebrand police officer to contest from Hindupur in Anantapur district to Parliament. The police officer submitted application seeking VRS from the police service two months ago.
However, the AP police officials have not accepted his VRS so far.
